25 Years of SAP Entertainment in San Jose

August 2019 – Approximately 280′ x 45′

We were asked by Whitney Hallock and Empire Seven Studios to design a mural for the SAP Center in celebration of their 25 years of entertainment in San Jose. This is by far the biggest installations we have ever done. Once we were on site, it took us two weeks to install this beast.

Veteran street artist Juan Carlos Araujo brought his years of experience and wisdom. He helped us paint, brought in volunteers, and even helped us gesture in the Draculas’ bat at the top. (The night we painted it, there were only two Draculas there. It took two lifts to get everything lined up, but one Dracula is very afraid of heights, so Juan Carlos got way up high and set in the outlines.)

The SAP Center set us up in the Hyatt Hotel about a mile or so a way. This is where we discovered Lime Scooters and all the fun they are. Riding to the hotel at 4am and having the streets to ourselves was outstanding.

The image below, is the day after we finished. It really shows off the scale.

Here is great write up about the whole event: SAP Center and Empire Seven Studios
